Bicyclist fatally struck in hit and run on Brooklyn-Queens Expressway
If you believe this report, someone was riding a bicycle on the misbegotten elevated highway just outside my neighborhood and the motorist who inevitably hit the misplaced cyclist chose to commit a felony to escape certain exoneration. Also the TV news has a very exciting graphic composition of a pedestrian crossing sign with tire tracks and broken glass superimposed on it, for these occasions.

I certainly do not think Bristol Palin should still be on dancing with the stars. It’s been an unfair competion since the beginning. Do I feel she has improved, most definitely, but so has all the others and you just wonder how much of that is fixed. Bristol was never given the hard routines that the others were accomplishing, but to go as far as to blow my tv to shreads…I don’t think sooooo!!!

Actually, if the subject is ‘bedlam,’ the truth is that there aren’t really two sides to this story. Injuries to pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists are down on the corridors where protected bike lanes have been installed.

Primetime network TV’s attempts to address That Internet Thing are universally embarrassing. Back in the old days, something like CSI: New York’s Gawker Stalker episode was kind of funny, like a rappin’ grandmother. But, like a rappin’ grandmother, it was funny once. Soon, something like CSI: Miami’s Gawker Stalker episode was just embarrassing.
